The official release date for The Gold Paramount+ has been set by Paramount. The British crime series starring Dominic Cooper (Preacher) will make its debut next month in all foreign markets.
When does The Gold come out on Paramount+?
Collider says that Paramount+ will start showing The Gold on September 14, and the Korean mystery Bargain will start on October 5. International shows like Los Enviados Season 2, Queen Woo, A Bloody Lucky Day, and the British show Sexy Beast are all set to come to Paramount+.
The description says, “On November 26, 1983, six armed men broke into the Brink’s-Mat security depot near London’s Heathrow Airport and found £26 million worth of gold bullion by accident.” “What started out as “a normal Old Kent Road armed robbery,” according to detectives at the time, became a pivotal event in British criminal history, notable not only for the size of the theft, which at the time was the biggest in the world’s history but also for its lasting effects.
The Gold is a pulsating dramatization that tells this extraordinary and epic story for the first time in its entirety. It was based on a lot of research and interviews with people who were there at the time.”
Hugh Bonneville (Downton Abbey), Jack Lowden (Slow Horses), Charlotte Spencer (The Duke), Tom Cullen (Black Mirror), Emun Elliott (Guilt, Old), Sean Harris (Mission: Impossible), Ellora Torchia (Midsommar), and Stefanie Martini (The Last Kingdom) are also in the group.
The Gold was made by Tannadice Pictures, which is a partner of Objective Fiction, and Paramount Television International Studios. It tells “this extraordinary and epic story in its entirety for the first time in a pulsating dramatization,” according to the producers. The series is written by Neil Forsyth and directed by Oscar winners Aneil Karia and Lawrence Gough.
