A spinoff of “John Wick” is coming to Peacock in September.

Fans got a sneak peek of the new ‘John Wick spinoff series, ‘The Continental,’ at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. The show is about the history of the hotel that assassins use as a safe haven and base of operations in the hit movie.

The series is going to come out in three parts. The first part will come out on September 22, and parts two and three will come out on September 29 and October 3, respectively.

From what we know so far, the series will take place in 1970 and show how the hotel in New York City got started through the eyes of a younger Winston Scott, who will be played by Colin Woodell. Mishel Prada, Ben Robson, Hubert Point-Du Jour, Nhung Kate, Jessica Allain, and many more are also in the group.

Behind the scenes, people like producer and director Albert Hughes, executive producer Marshall Persinger, action director Larnell Stovall, and others are making the magic happen.

Even though Keanu Reeves isn’t expected to be in the series, ‘The Continental’ continues the story and spirit of the 2017 hit movie that has since gained a huge number of fans. The only question is whether or not it will live up to the movies.

In other entertainment news, the first weekends of “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” did better than expected at the box office.
