The Chicks asked Nashville fans to keep their tickets for a rescheduled event on their social media.

Their note didn't say who was sick or if it would affect the Chicks' July 29 engagement at Knoxville's Thompson-Boling Arena.

“The Chicks look forward to seeing their Nashville fans soon and apologize for any inconveniences,” the statement stated.

Thursday's gig was the Chicks' first in Nashville since 2016 (they performed at Bonnaroo in 2022).

The country trio—Emily Strayer, Natalie Maines, and Martie Maguire—has played in the UK and Europe and is now on a 37-date North American tour called "The Chicks World Tour 2023."
