Sarah Ferguson was told she had breast cancer, and she had surgery and is now getting better.

"Sarah, Duchess of York, was recently diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer," Ferguson's representatives told Fox News Digital.

The cancer was found during a regular mammogram screening. Ferguson, who was married to Prince Andrew before, didn't have any signs before she was diagnosed.

"She was told that she needed surgery, which was done successfully."

Her representative also said, "The Duchess is getting the best medical care, and her doctors have told her that the outlook is good." She is now getting better with the help of her family."

Ferguson, who is well-known as "Fergie," has two children with her ex-husband. Their names are Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.
