When Yellowstone Will Finally Return to Our Screen

Yellowstone Season 5, Part 1 aired its finale on January 1, 2023.

– The show's return for Season 5, Part 2 has been significantly delayed due to various factors, including Kevin Costner's drama with creator Taylor Sheridan and the Writer’s Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

– CBS announced that it will air Yellowstone Season 1 on the network starting on September 17, 2023, airing on Sundays at 8:30 p.m.

– CBS is airing Yellowstone reruns in the fall due to the strikes that halted production on many of their regular primetime series.

– Alongside Yellowstone, CBS’ fall schedule includes FBI True and SEAL Team, which will make their debut on the network.

– The original release date for Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2 was set for November 2023, but due to the strikes, filming hadn't started by July 2023, according to Luke Grimes (Kayce Dutton).

– Grimes mentioned that the new season will focus on "love and family" as well as "really juicy drama."

Kevin Costner, who played John Dutton, is reported to be leaving the series due to his drama with creator Taylor Sheridan. A new spin-off led by Matthew McConaughey is set to replace Yellowstone.
